Picture this, you're standing in the middle of a seemingly endless field of greenery.
A gust of wind caresses your face and in the fullness of time you forget about all the chaos that life is.
What if this escape of a place actually existed?
Koilsagar.
It is located at the outskirts of Telangana boasting its one and only reservoirs - the Koilsagar Dam.
Though it may look like a small place, koilsagar is known for a vast range of things
This trip had 3 legs. Despite the fact that it was a short one we managed to get the best out of it.
We started off from our home city on bikes. 15 people ready to taste the sweet nothings of a nature.
For starters, let me talk about my experiences about our first stop. After a long bike ride of 3 hours, we reached at the lake side of Koilsagar reservoirs.
A 144 km long ride later, we set up a bonfire and obviously sang away in our happiness.
The night went by as we indulged ourselves in stargazing.
The clear sky of rural India was a site to gaze at.
The next morning we set off for koilsagar dam on a bike. We had stopped by for breakfast. It goes without saying all south indies love a little dosa, idli for a light morning breakfast for themselves.
We reached the dam, and God knows what a beautiful site it was. Clear waters seemed almost as if it was never going to end.
These are some pictures which we took at the dam.
This was all one needed to get away for the weekend. I have to mention here that we went on this trip through an agency, 'Adventures Ahead'.
They managed everything meticulously so we could have our part of fun.
You can see the road-trip, this video was filmed and edited by me.
